Florida 2024 Rankings: Pre-Summer Update

As the high school baseball season nears its end, we look forward to the summer with a fresh 2024 Rankings Update. 2024’s head into the biggest summer of their high school careers, as many players made a big jump this spring. Check out our most recent PBR Florida Class of 2024 Rankings update.

At the top of the class is LHP/OF Noah Franco. The left-hander made the jump up to the 2024 class before the spring and hasn’t missed a beat. Low 90s arm and middle of the order bat. The newly #UNcommitted ‘24 will be a must see this summer.

One of the many, many reasons why 2024 OF/LHP Noah Franco is one of the top two-way players in the country.

At two is RHP Chase Mobley. The 6-foot-5, 190 pound right-hander has been up to 96 this spring and can generate swings and misses on the fastball. His slider flashes sharp and has wipeout potential. The FSU recruit has an extremely high ceiling and continues to project moving forward.

Grabbed a 96, primarily 92-95.

Number three in the state is another power right-hander in Schuyler Sandford. Sandford has been up to 95 with heavy life on his fastball. He added strength in the off-season that has helped him this spring. He’s shown an improved changeup and confidence in the slider. Look for a big summer from Sandford.

At number four is one of the biggest risers in the class in RHP Dylan Jordan. Jordan has had a huge spring for Viera touching 95 with the fastball. Jordan is a tough AB for any hitter. Longer arm action that’s tough to pick up. A lot of armside run + sink on his fastball. Sweeping slider that generates swings and misses. Jordan is on the rise and will look to continue his helium this summer.

Rounding out the top five is SS Manny Marin. Marin is an impressive middle infielder with the range and arm to stick at short. Easy juice off the bat with power potential. Marin knows how to hit and should do damage offensively this summer.
