On June 7th the PBR Florida Underclass Games will take place at the University of South Florida which will feature some of the top prospects from the 2019-2021 classes from throughout the state. Leading up to the event, we will highlight some of the prospects who will be in attendance through reports and video. Today we take a look at 2019 OF/3B Patrick Romeri of IMG Academy, FL.

01/15/17- Stands at 6-foot-1, 183 pounds with a strong, tall body, suited well for a corner position. Makes the plays, fields the ball out in front, and showed side to side range in while at third base. Throws across the diamond were strong and accurate as he topped out at 82 mph. During batting practice he showcased pull side pop with above average bat speed with numerous line drives into the gaps. Had a tendency to rotate with shoulders and come out of his legs a bit, but has the tools to be a middle of the order bat at the next level. Interesting follow and moved very well for his size, clocking in at 7.08 seconds for his 60 yard dash time. |
