The Florida Preseason All-State has quickly become the premier Preseason event in the state of Florida. Over the first two years there have been over 100 committed players in attendance and counting. This event is held for the top 2019s-2022s throughout the state to kick off the Prep Baseball Report's spring high school baseball coverage.

We will begin to spotlight each and every player in attendance. Today, we take a look at OF Jalen DeBose (Seminole, 2020). The West Virginia commit is ranked No. 76 in FL's Class of 2020.

Scouting Report

07/14/18- Committed to West Virginia shortly after the event. The 5-foot-10, 150 pound outfielder has a lean, athletic frame with room to fill out. High ceiling outfielder with above average athleticism. Throws have carry, with a loose, athletic arm, topping out at 86 mph. Offensively, he had a toe tap trigger and stands upright. The hands are very quick, can get a bit rotational at times, but when he gets into the lower half and stays behind and through the ball, he shows power potential. There is present bat speed, a lot of athleticism and overall a high ceiling from DeBose.
