FL Power25 Update: Week 4

The 2023 high school baseball season has completed its fourth week of games. Each week we will update our Power25 HS Rankings with Risers, Fallers, and Newcomers to the rankings each week. We look forward to covering high school games this spring and hearing your feedback on who you think should be ranked where. Take a look at our Week 4 update.

Week 4

Risers

#11 Canterbury

Canterbury continues to be one of the most impressive teams in the state. The Cougars are 9-0 with some tough wins on their resume. They continue to dominate in the run differential category 81-19. The Cougars have proven to be the top team in Fort Myers this spring.

Fallers

#14 Viera

After a 7-0 start to the season, Viera went on a two-game skid against unranked opponents Oviedo and Creekside. They finished the week with wins over Bartram Trail and Father Lopez to get themselves back in the right direction.

NR Miami Springs

At the back of the Power25 last week, another loss cost Miami Springs their ranking. The Golden Hawks are 7-3 on the season. In Week 4, they lost to #23 Westminster Christian, and followed up with wins over Coral Springs and Cooper City.

Newcomers

#25 Lake Mary

After losing their opening game of the season, the Rams have rattled off 8 straight wins to get to 8-1. They have a Top 10 win on their resume beating #9 Hagerty. Lake Mary has a large run differential as well outscoring opponents 73-10 on the year.
