Orlando, FL—The Central Florida Play Hard Showcase on Dec. 12 at South Orange Sports Complex saw a lot of young local talent as well as talent from across the state. Today we take a look at outfielders, led by 2016 Paul Benitez (Lake Nona HS, FL), who has already committed to Arkansas-Little Rock. Benitez is a very athletic and versatile player who ran the top 60 with a time of 6.76 and also was the top infielder. Uncommitted 2016 Francisco Ramos (Cypress Creek HS, FL) is also a very athletic outfielder with left-handed power and a high ceiling. He ran a 6.88 60 and had an exit velocity of 91 mph. 2019 OF/C Parker Aultman (Graceville HS, FL) also is a very athletic outfielder and also shined behind the plate too. He is a young athlete with a lot of upside. Here are the rest of the outfield crew in alphabetical order.
Luis Andujar, OF/RHP, Brooks Debartolo HS, FL (2017)
5-foot-11, 150-pound OF/RHP with a lean, athletic and projectable body. Loose, athletic actions with enough arm for the outfield. Good body control with quick release. Keeps feet under his body. At the plate he has an upright stance and a small leg kick for his stride. He has a short, quick swing and flat path through the zone. Loose, projectable bat that hits line drives to all fields. Ran a 7.18 60. Threw 74 mph from the outfield.
Parker Aultman, OF/C, Graceville HS, FL (2019)
Uncommitted. 5-foot-11, 165 pounds with a strong, athletic and projectable frame. Athletic actions in the outfield with a quick release and an above-average arm with good carry. Aggressive routes to ball. Charges ball. While only a freshman, Aultman is already starting to show the tools, body and athleticism that recruiters look for. He has a strong, muscular lower half. He’s always had an aggressive approach at the plate with strength and quickness in the bat. However, he now seems to be a bit more consistent in repeating his swing. The result was the ability to drive the ball to more of the field instead of just showing pull power previously. Also seems to have the makeup required at the catching position and will be a Division I prospect. Ran a 7.18 60. Threw 80 mph from the outfield. 82 mph exit velocity.
Paul Benitez, OF/SS, Lake Nona HS, FL (2016)
Arkansas-Little Rock recruit. 6 feet, 180 pounds with a strong, athletic and live body. Athletic actions in the outfield with an average arm that is on line with good carry. Aggressive routes to ball. Charges ball with a quick release and good body control. Athletic enough to play anywhere in the infield or outfield. Relaxed at the plate and gets a small separation for his load. Short, quick swing and he would have more power if he used more lower half. He possesses good bat speed and consistently drives the ball to both gaps. Ran a 6.76 60. 84 mph exit velocity. Threw 87 mph from the outfield and 85 mph from the infield.
Jason Brown, OF/2B, University HS, FL (2018)
5-foot-5, 140-pound OF/2B with a stocky, strong body on a smaller frame. Good outfield actions with a long loose whippy arm. Ball lacks carry due to tailing action. Good release with good body control. At the plate he possesses a short, quick swing and stays inside the ball. Has a good bat path that keeps barrel in the zone. He consistently hits line drives to all fields. Ran a 7.65 60. 70 mph exit velocity. Threw 69 mph from the outfield.
Daniel Coca, 3B/OF, Fort Meade HS, FL (2018)
6-foot-1, 151-pound 3B/OF with a tall, loose, lean and projectable body. Good outfield actions with enough arm. Good body control with a slow release. Takes some time to get feet under him. Good reads and routes. Showed good infield actions with solid mechanics and good hands. Sits back on balls and fields a little too deep in stance. Throws have some carry but winds up to throw. Ran a 7.44 60. Threw 76 mph from the outfield and 71 mph from the infield. 80 mph exit velocity.
William Coca, OF/1B, Fort Meade HS, FL (2017)
6-foot, 167-pound OF/1B with a loose body with wide hips and shoulders. Good outfield actions with good first step quickness. Good reads. Shows good instincts. Good body control. Throws have some carry with a long loose arm. At the plate he has a good base and nice bat path. He has good hitters' hands and stays inside the ball well. Hits line drives to all fields and has an approach/swing similar to Melky Cabrera. Ran a 7.65 60. Threw 73 mph from the outfield. Threw 69 mph from the infield. 84 mph exit velocity.

5-foot-7, 115-pound 2B/OF with a lean, loose, athletic and young frame. Loose, athletic outfield actions with good reads and routes to ball with a quick release. Arm lacks carry, but will improve with physical maturity. Offensively he gets a nice separation for his load, has a good path through the zone, and has a short, quick swing. He possesses an easy swing and hits consistent line drives to all fields. Body lacks overall strength and overall game will improve with physical maturity. Ran a 7.8 60. 70 mph exit velocity. Threw 68 mph from the outfield and 67 mph from the infield.
Matthew Delgado, OF/C, Timber Creek HS, FL (2017)

Offensively he possesses an easy swing with a nice path through the zone. He hits consistent line drives and can really turn on the inside pitch and keep it fair. Ran a 7.5 60. 72 mph exit velocity. Derek Garcia, OF/3B, Osceola HS, FL (2016)
6-foot-1, 195-pound OF/3B with a thick, blocky and strong body. Outfield actions are a bit erect with a long, loose and quick arm with good carry. Good enough to play right field. Limited to a corner outfield position due to below-average range. At the plate he has good rhythm, gets a separation for his load and has a leg kick for his stride. The ball jumps off his bat and he would have even more power if he worked on his weight transfer by firing his backside forward. Has length in swing with a good bat path. He still shows good pop and possesses pull-side power. Ran a 7.32 60. Threw 81 mph from the infield and 84 mph from the outfield. 93 mph exit velocity.

Reads ball off bat well. At the plate he has a good base, a quick swing, and flat path through the zone. He needs to work on using more lower half, which will give him more power, but he still hits consistent line drives. Ran a 7.69 60. 83 mph exit velocity. 81 mph from the outfield.
Jacob Jacome, C/2B, The First Academy, FL (2017)
5-foot-8, 140-pound C/2B with a lean, loose, athletic and projectable body. Loose, easy outfield actions with good reads off bat. Quick release with a loose easy, 3/4 arm with good carry. Arm will continue to get better and is solid-average now. At the plate he gets a good separation for his load and has a nice swing plane through the zone. Ran a 6.88 60 and has good range, but limited to a corner outfield position at the next level. Arm strength was below-average. Stays quiet at the plate and is relaxed. Gets a separation for his load, stays inside the ball well, and has a short, quick swing. Doesn't always get to his front side.
