Central Florida Play Hard Open: Top Statistical Performers

The Central Florida Play Hard Open Showcase took place this past weekend in Orlando. The event was well-represented by every high school class and each age group featured multiple players who possessed at least one above average tool. Not including Paul Benitez, who has already signed with Arkansas-Little Rock, a few players from this showcase will certainly play at the collegiate level.
2016 OF/RHP Francisco Ramos is a projectable player at 6-foot-5 and ran a 6.88 and has a nice lefty stroke; 2016 OF/3B Derek Garcia showed solid arm strength and good pull side pop in batting practice; 2017 C/2B Jacob Jacome showed off an above average arm and drove the ball with authority to all fields; 2017 C/2B Luis Ortiz consistently hit hard line drives and had advanced actions behind the plate; 2017 C/1B Riley Wash showed a strong, accurate arm with a quick transfer and nice swing in batting practice; 2018 RHP/OF Andrew Aultman possesses a projectable frame and showed a quick arm from the mound with the top velocity, and 2019 C/OF Parker Aultman showed off a plus arm, advanced actions behind the plate, and really drove the ball well for his age.
