Coach Angulo: "The George Jenkins Eagles are coming off a stellar 2023 campaign, going 22-7 and capturing their 2nd consecutive District Title and their 6th in the past 7 seasons.  The Eagles lost a lot of offensive firepower to graduation and will look to some new pieces in the lineup to produce.  The Eagles do return a key middle of the lineup bat in Wilfredo Ortiz.  Ortiz will be complimented in the lineup by Armani Cozza, Xavier Glover, Braden Smith, Caleb Smith and Austin Dadey.  The Eagles strength will be on the mound, where they return 65% of their innings from last season.  The rotation will be headlined by Xavier Glover and complimented by Braden Smith, Austin Dadey and Seth Patterson.  The Eagles should field a very strong team that can compete for yet another District title and playoff run.”
