The pitching of Aidan King and the addition of assistant coaches Gil Morales and Nick Karpf

OUTLOOK

Coach Osbeck: "The Cardinals are very young (2 seniors and 25+ freshmen/sophomores) - and very talented. The pitching staff, led by Florida signee, Aidan King, will be what the team relies on. Two-way Tennessee commit, sophomore Cody Boshell, will be relied on to swing a big bat and as the key left handed arm. Sophomore newcomers, Luke Manderson, Ilias Mamea, and Tyler Wilford will all add depth to the pitching staff that Grant Sheppard will catch. Including a trip to Hoover, AL for the PG High School Showdown, Bishop Snyder will play one of the toughest schedules in the state. How quickly the youngsters (including Tristan Silver, Alan Smith, Evan Pieklo, Jack Rauch, Hank Dyal and more, who could all see varsity playing time) can get up to speed will determine how far the Cards can ride the arm of Aidan King."
