2023 Junior State Games: Preview

The 2023 Junior State Games kicks off this weekend in Vero Beach. The event will be held at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex. The event will feature 2025 grads from across the state representing their region during showcase and gameplay. The event will be featured on the Prep Baseball Report website as well as on social media. Today, we will highlight the players in attendance in this preview.

Preview
East
The East region features 2025s from the Orlando area and the east coast of the state. The East pitchers will be Wyatt Dion, Joey Duprey (USF), Ismael Rivera, Jeremiah Stewart, Christopher Tomlin, and Cameron Wood. Behind the plate is Reese Ainsworth, Joseph Celano, and Cole Morgan.
The East infield features Brennan Confreda and Brayden Temperton at first base, while Nicolas Partridge (Florida) and Tyler Pittington man third base. Up the middle is Luke Anderson, Blake Borges, Taggert Cameron, and Kristian Wolfe. Rounding out the East are outfielders Nicholas Bongo, Luke Garrison, Bryce Reddick, and Julian Spinola.
North
The North region features 2025s from the Gainesville, Jacksonville, and Panhandle areas. Pitching for the North will be Darian Collins, Caden Jensen, Nicholas Riedel, and Drew Williams. Catching for the North will be Bubba Crouch, Nick Gates, Thatcher Harley, and Dominick Patruno.
In the infield, the North features Nicholas Oliveira at first base and Kolby Batten and Christian Zediker at third. The middle infield will be Andrew Farriss, Cam Medina, Noah Prudencio, Dallas Rasmussen, Carter Smith, and Wyatt West. The outfield for the North will be Julius Rodriguez, Brady Smith, and Brenin Striplin.
South
The South region features players from the Miami area as well as Fort Lauderdale, Naples, and Palm Beach. The South pitchers will be Jack Campbell and Xavier Domenech as well as multiple two-ways. Behind the plate will be Noah Ehlers, Joshua Jennings, and Aidan Moldof.
The infield features Billy Mallon at third base with the middle infield being Eric Eikenberg, Emmanuel Lantigua (FSU), Danny Machado (FAU), Camden Pope, and Santino Spidalieri. Rounding out the South are outfielders Ethan Cabrera, Nicholas Curbelo, Rhys Klein, Angelito Ruguian, and Trevor Palmieri.
West
The West region is made up of 2025s from the West coast of Florida in Tampa, Clearwater, Sarasota, and more. Pitching for the West is Brock Golden, Mason Hudson, Matthew Porta, and Lorenzo Vila. Catching for the West are Brady Blanks, Devin Grider, Ryan Senecal, and Ryder Warriner.
The West infield has Landon Boever at third, and Drew Dunlop at first. Up the middle is Carson Arnold, Lucas Cinnante, Antonio Cruz, and Andrew Sheffield. Rounding out the West roster in the outfield is Antonio Fawcett, Jake Owen, and Gabriel Rodrigo.
