The 2022 High School baseball season has officially kicked off. Each week we will update our Power25 HS Rankings with Risers, Fallers, and Newcomers to the rankings each week. We look forward to covering high school games this spring and hearing your feedback on who you think should be ranked where. Take a look at our Week 8 update.

Risers
No. 10 Miami Christian
Miami Christian makes their top 10 debut this week. 18-4 on the season after a huge 8-4 upset over No. 2 IMG Academy on Friday. The Victors have won 11 of their last 12 games and picked the perfect time to get hot.
No. 17 Tate
Tate continues to be a tough matchup out of the Panhandle. They came down to the Tampa area two weeks ago and handled business taking down No. 25 Mitchell and Wiregrass Ranch. They were back in the Panhandle last week and picked up two more big wins. They dominated in a 20-0 win over Navarre then upset No. 8 Pace 2-0.
Fallers
No. 18 Westminster Christian
Westminster Christian had a tough week 8 as they traveled up north to South Carolina. They went 1-2 on their trip and now sit 14-6 on the season. Losses to Hammond and AC Flora but picked up a win against River Bluff. The Warriors have a tough schedule to close out the season but have the talent to win those games.
NR Pensacola Catholic
Pensacola Catholic fell to 13-6 after two losses last week. After a 7 game win streak, Pensacola Catholic fell to Gulf Breeze and Mosley. Catholic will have another tough matchup coming up against Pace before they head into districts.
Newcomers
No. 21 Bartram Trail
Bartram enters the rankings once again after a couple weeks on the outside. They’ve won 5 of their last 6 games and have started getting hot at the right time. The team has double digit commits and the talent to make a deep playoff run.
