2021 Junior State Games: West Region Analysis

The 2021 Junior State Games took place Saturday, October 16th and Sunday, October 17th at Jackie Robinson Ballpark in Daytona, FL. The event featured players from the 2023 class representing their region of North, South, East, or West Florida participating in a pro-style workout followed by 3 total games per region in front of the PBR Florida Scouting Staff.
The weekend was full of talent from all 4 regions, but the East finished at the top going 3-0 throughout the event. To view all the stats from the event, check out our Stats Story. Today, we will continue with our Player Analysis breaking down each player's tools and projection through complete scouting reports. We will continue with the West Region. Take a look.
West Region Analysis

Keeton Burroughs SS / 2B / Calvary Christian, FL / 20235-foot-9, 150-pound athletic lean build. Solid during batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 88 mph. (64.04 mph bat speed average). (19.00 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a small compact load, then uses a short leg kick. Has efficient bat speed, short simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Produced some loud contact and found multiple barrels. Line drive approach.
