On May 10th-12th, 2019 at the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches, PBR Florida will host the First annual Academy World Series. This years event features eight academies from Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina and Alabama. The event will feature a pair of pool play games followed by single elimination bracket-play until the first champion is crowned. Today we take a look at the preview of Elev8 Baseball Academy.

Ben Vespi RHP / 1B / Elev8, FL / 2020 Rankings  StateRank: 12 / POS: 4 OverallRank: 66 / POS: 20 UCF - the 6-foot-3 right hander shows clean, easy arm action on the mound. His fastball sits 88-90 and has touched 91. Also comes with a 76 mph curveball and an 80 mph changeup.

Joseph Phan SS / 3B / Elev8, FL / 2021 5-foot-8, young shortstop has a slender frame with room to grow. Clean and quick hands at shortstop. Offensively, has a smooth and fluid swing at the plate.
