CARY, NC—All teams at the Tournament of Stars returned to game action Saturday, finishing pool play to set up the championship round for Sunday. Brave and Free both went 3-0 and will meet in the gold medal game at noon. The bronze medal matchup will feature United vs. Pride while Stars and Stripes will play for fifth place.

Brave beat Pride 3-2 in Saturday’s last game behind LHP Mike Siani (William Penn Charter HS, PA), LHP Brian Gursky (St. Joseph Catholic HS, IN) and RHP Jordon Adell (Ballard HS, KY) throwing six shutout innings. RHP Bryce Hutchinson (Spruce Creek HS, FL) got the start and went three innings, allowing two runs on three hits and a walk while striking out two. After that, the three relievers combined for the final six innings and allowed just three hits and three walks while striking out six. Four of those strikeouts came from Siani, who sat 84-87 mph and touched 88. A Virginia recruit, he also mixed in a slider at 75-78 and changeup at 79. He has a simple, compact delivery and high-3/4 arm slot.
