This week’s 2016 Player Spotlight is on Tampa Prep catcher Luis Medina. The  5-foot-11 185 pound Medina has been a standout the past two seasons for the  Terrapins. As a freshman, Medina batted .461 with 3 home runs and in his  sophomore  campaign he batted .443 with 3 homeruns and 29 RBI helping lead  Tampa  Prep to the Regional Finals of the  2014 FHSAA playoffs.
