2016 Player Spotlight: Jordan Murray-Mosley HS
September 23, 2014
This week’s 2016 Player Spotlight is on Jordan Murray. Jordan Murray is a 6-foot-0, 162 pound LHP/1B from Mosley HS. Murray has a slender athletic frame. Murray has short, high 3/4 arm action. He hides the ball well. Murray’s fastball is 78-80 mph with sink and run. He has a sweeping curveball and has feel for his change up. His ability to throw strikes with all of his pitches in multiple counts allows him to compete by keeping hitting off balanced. At the plate, Murray has a short, simple swing and makes good contact. He ran a 7.2 60 and had a 87 mph exit velo at the Panhandle ID event in August.
