Damascus

2020 RHP/3B Byron Clack (Damascus HS) - sound arm action throwing from a side arm angle Fastball has slight run and sink to the pitch up to 79 mph. Breaking ball has 10/4 action to the pitch with gradual break at 63-67 mph. Nice projectable frame with room to get stronger Hits from an open set up at the plate with a level bat path. Intersting prospect and one to keep an eye on as he developes.

2020 Will Wikner (Avalon) – Side step delivery with some pace. Shorter athletic arm action throwing from a high ¾ slot. Fastball has slight sink to the pitch Hits from a slightly open set up. Level bat with hands that stay inside ball well. Sprays ball around field.

2020 Aidan Rannals (Damascus) – Hits from a slightly open set up. Short, quick load and stays slightly open. Level path at the plate with average bat speed. Sound arm action throwing from a high three quarter slot. Nice paced delivery on the mound. Sound arm action throwing from a high three quarter. Fastball was up to 74 mph.

2019 Jared Ng (Magruder) –Hits from a square set up at the plate from the left side. Short path to the ball with hands that stay inside the ball. Needs to add strength.

2020 Bennett Wrublik (Avalon) – level bat path at the plate. Hits from a balanced set up. Short quick load at the plate. Quck hands through the zone with a level path. Keeps hands inside the baseball. Average bat speed. Nice foundation as he adds to his frame.

2019 Hunter Powell (Clarksburg) – Hits from a taller, slightly open set up. On the mound, taller, deliberate build style delivery with rocker forward. Kicks out to work downhill. Short arm action with some elbow Fastball is straight. Showed a level bat path at the plate.

2019 Connor Devine (Clarksburg). Hits from a slightly open set up. Leg kick in load. Gets out of balance. Short path at the plate with average bat speed.

2019 Michael Roenick (Clarksburg) – Solid bigger frame. Hits from a taller slightly open set up. Shows some bat speed at the plate. Stays open in load showed pull side pop on a deep drive to left center gap.

2020 Bailey Arensmeyer (Clarksburg) – Lanky projectable frame. Longer arm action with slight pause in arm circle. Fastball has slight run to the pitch up to 70 mph

Dig In

2020 Sam Mermelstein (Whitman) – Hits from an athletic open set up at the plate. Nice rhythm throughout swing. Short quick hands through the zone, jumped a ball in his first at bat of the game for a double down the line. Runs well, took a bit to get to top speed.

2020 Ian Brady (Sherwood) – Hits from an athletic, slightly open set up at the plate. Shows some rhythm. Closes slightly off in load to hitting position. Shorter, direct swing path to the ball with some extension through contact. Quick hands and barreled ball well in game. Middle approach.

2020 Ryan Pastor (Georgetown Prep) – Hits from a slightly open set up. Projectable frame to add room to. Level swing path with quick hands at the plate. Shows average bat speed. Got around the ball slightly.

2020 Eddie Dello Russo Glenelg – Hits from a square taller set up. Sinks into lower half in load. Level swing path to the ball with average bat speed. Middle approach.

2020 Nick Marley (Good Counsel)– Hits from a slightly open athletic set up with high hands. Gets leg kick into load. Shorter path to the baseball. Gets out of balance at times.

2020 Zach Senders (Bullis) – Projectable athletic frame. Hits from a slightly open set up at the plate. Short load to hitting position. Level swing path with average bat speed. Shows some extension through contact. Average runner. Solid foundation in skill set as he gets stronger and fills out frame.

2020 Connor Leard (Glenelg) – Hits from a taller, slightly open set up. Sinks into load with some hand movement. Short swing path with average bat speed. Nice foundation at the plateHas room to fill out frame and get stronger.

2020 Jackson Bouquet (Churchill) – Solid frame with long arms. Loose arm action throwing from a three quarter angle. Breaking ball has 11/5 action on the pitch with gradual break. Fastball shows slight run on the pith up to 71 mph. Room to grow and add onto frame.

Elkridge Hurricanes

2019 OF/RHP Gabe Delgado (Howard) – Tall projectable frame. Shows some rhythm at the plate hitting from a square set up. Leg kick load with short swing path and quick hands. Gets on front foot at times out of balance due to leg kick. When he stays on balance, shows some pop to pull side as well. Interesting young prospect as he adds to frame and continues to develop. Quick first step in the outfield. Covers ground .

2019 Nick Palacorolla 3B/RHP (Mount St. Joseph) – Short swing path and showed nice balance at the plate. Showed some bat speed at the plate. On the mound quiet simple delivery with a sound arm action throwing from a high three quarter. Slight run on the fastball up to 76 mph.

2020 Travis Nale RHP/1B (Archbishop Curley)– Compact athletic delivery. Short quick arm action throwing from a high three quarter slot, almost over the top. Fastball has slight run to the pitch up to 77 mph. Slows his arm and body up on a 11/5 breaking ball with gradual break, but shows potential for the pitch once he throws with more intent. Has room to strengthen frame to throw harder.

2020 C Shayan Kassiri (Howard) – Shorter swing path at the plate. Got out of balance at times, showed average bat speed and kept barrel in zone. Low setup behind the dish. Nice hip flexibility while still presenting broad target for pitcher. Quick release with average carry on throws but arm strength should get better as he grows.

2020 OF Ira Snell (Marriott's Ridge) – Solid frame. Hits from a taller set up with high hands. Level swing path with uphill finish. Could get more lower half involvement. Shows strength and has more as he smoothens out swing to get full body. Moves well in the outfield. Has a quick arm action and throws show some carry with average arm strength. One to keep an eye on as he develops.

2019 MIF Alvin Carela (Archbishop Curley) – Projectable frame with room to grow. Showed off abilty to cover ground in field with a quick first step. Made a nice diving stop in championship game on Sunday. Shorter swing path with quick hands and average bat speed.

PA Playmakers

2020 Gavin McCall (Radnor, PA)– Hits from athletic slightly open set up. Short swing path with average bat speed at plate.

2020 Tommy Roberts (Downingtown West, PA)– Shorter compact frame. Short bat path at the plate hitting from a square set up.

2020 Justin Rugh (MB & AP, PA) – Athletic frame. Athletic, shorter arm action throwing from a three quarter arm slot. Pitches with regular effort. Square landing to the plate. Fastball showed slight run on the pitch up to 76 mph. Got occasional cut on fastball at times. Breaking ball had 11/5 shape with some depth on the pitch at 68 mph. Flies open at times with front side, causing to miss to arm side. Potential with the breaking ball. Room to add on frame. Interesting 2020 prospect.

2020 Grant Shorey (West Chester East, PA) – Athletic frame. Hits from a narrow, slightly open set up. Leg kick in load to hitting position. Lands open front hip comes open. Barrel stays level through the zone with some bat speed. Potential pull side power. Solid foundation in young player and should continue to improve as he fills out frame.

2019 Jake Coehlo (West Chester East, PA) – Solid frame. Hits from a square set up at the plate. Shows some bat speed with a pull approach. Leg kick in lift, opens up to hitting position.

2020 Walker Bradley (Concord, DE) – Projectable frame with room for growth. Hits from a taller, slightly open set up at the plate. Short swing path with quick hands and uphill finish. Nice foundation as he gets stronger and fills out frame.

2019 Collin Kelsch (West Chester East, PA)– Tall projectable frame with room to add on . Hits from a square set up with hands at shoulder level. Small load, mainly stride forward to hitting position. Shorter level swing path with average bat speed. Pull approach.
