Kevin Madden SS / RHP / St. Pauls, MD / 2018Rankings State Rank:12 POS:3
Madden is a strong and athletic right-handed pitcher and infielder. At the plate, he swinger with quick hands and solid bat speed. He utilizes a unique toe-tap, leg kick combination but seemed to have no trouble barreling up anything thrown at him. He has a grasp for using his lower body and should add more pop as he learns to stay in his backside a little longer. In the infield, he has clean glove work and smooth actions. Takes efficient routes to balls on either side of his body. He has the arm strength to play on the left side. On the mound, he has an uptempo delivery with some effort to go along with a long arm action and high ¾ release point. He features a fastball and breaking ball mix. His fastball has life and topped at 87mph. His slider, while having inconsistent command, showed sharp bite and the potential to be a plus pitch.

Joey Silan RHP / OF / Caravel Academy (DE), MD / 2018Rankings State Rank:13 POS:6
Silan has an athletic frame and throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with a smooth drop and drive delivery. Very quick arm with loose action, generating velocity with easier effort. Shoulders are level and closed, strides very closed, crossfire delivery with an athletic finish. Fastball had slight late run, sitting 85-87, touching 89. Sweeping slider with decent armspeed, running 71-76, sharper at the higher end of his range. Very good change-up with good armspeed and fade, running 76-78.

Maxwell Costes 3B / RHP / Gilman, MD / 2018Rankings State Rank:14 POS:2
Costes came into his own this spring for Gilman becoming a talented piece of te team and turning himself into one of the most feared hitters in the MIAA. Numerous MIAA coaches tabbed him as the top player in the conference this season. A thick and powerful offensive prospect, Costes has one of the more powerful swing around with simple effort. Maxwell will potentially join his older brother Marty Costes at the University of Maryland.

Zach Doss C / North Point, MD / 2018Rankings State Rank:17 POS:1
One of the top hitters in southern Maryland this past spring, Doss is a strong bodied catching prospect our of North Point and a Maryland commit. He hits from a slightly open stance with hands high. Has bigger leg kick into hitting position and keeps hands in strong position. Fast bat speed with uphill finish through extension. Shows ability to drive baseball and has pop. An advanced offensive option who should only fill out his already strong frame. Behind the plate, receives well. Clean exchange on throws down, could get quicker to release.

Dallas Repine RHP / 1B / James M. Bennett, MD / 2018Rankings State Rank:18 POS:7
Repine is a lanky 6-foot-7, 180-pound righty with a sound arm action from a high-3/4 slot. He still has room to add strength to his frame and shows athleticism as well. He pitches at 86-88, touching 89, to go with a 74-77 breaking ball that has 11/5 shape. It needs to be more consistent, but it shows nice shape and late action with the potential to be a swing-and-miss pitch.

Moves well and handles himself behind the dish. leg kick invovled load in his swing. Fast bat speed, aggressive swings with no holding back. Looks good plenty of times, but can get fooled and out of balance. Small refinement with the athleticism makes for an intriguing future.
