Future Games Team Mid-Atlantic Check in

The PBR Future Games is the premier event of the summer for uncommitted rising juniors and sophomores across the country. It offers these players the opportunity to gain valuable exposure on the national stage. Last year alone over 150 college coaches from across the country representing every major Division I conference were in attendance for the event.

Last year was the second year that Team Mid-Atlantic (comprised of players from Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, and Virginia) had a team represented and already eight players have made their commitment in the three months since the event was ran. Virginia representatives Don Goodes (VMI) and Tevin Tucker (West Virginia) were the latest to make their college decision. Virginia had a total of four members (Goodes, Tucker, Camden Grimes, and Kyle Novak) play for Team Mid-Atlantic and we expect to have more in participation for year three representing the commonwealth.

The 2017 Future Games will again take place at Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana on August 3-5. Roster invitations will begin to go out following the winter events as well as the early summer events prior to the Future Games. The VA Underclass Preview, Freshmen Free Showcase, and Preseason All State offer players in the Class of 2019 and 2020 an opportunity to make a case for their inclusion on the Team Mid-Atlantic roster. A total of 15 of the 22 players on the 2016 roster received an invitation to participate following their participation in a prior PBR event.
