With the recent launch of Prep Baseball Dakotas, our goal is to highlight players from North Dakota and South Dakota as they make their way through the recruiting cycle. Committing to play at the collegiate level is a significant step, regardless of the division. With the offseason ahead, prospects in the class of 2025 and 2026 are making their commitments rapidly. Here’s a quick rundown of the recent commits from both states.

+ The southpaw was 84-85 with the fastball at the 2024 Dakota State Games. Athletic with a strong bodied frame. Created velocity at relatively low effort.

Delivery: Works from stretch, closed set position, knee lift up, coils at top, stays over back leg, front leg swing down and lands open Arm Action: LH. Short arm action, chest high break, elbow leads back, closed shoulders, high horizontal elbow behind, high 3/4 slot FB: T78, 75-78 mph. T1956, 1869 average rpm. CB: 56-59 mph. Square stance with controlled body load, flashes of hand speed, squares baseball well to mid pull side of field, above avg. sense of timing and is athletic in the box. 70.7 mph bat speed with 8 G's of rotational acceleration. Power: 93 max exit velocity, averaged 76.6 mph. 347' max distance. Arm: RH. OF-76 mph. Defense: Glove flips out and stay low to field. Feet move direct on ball line, stays low to field and slight length to release ATH: 7.02 runner in the 60.
