#5 Benjamin Casparius, RHP, Staples, 2017 (North Carolina commit)
Scouting Report: A North Carolina recruit, Casparius stands at 6-foot-1, 195-pounds. His fastball sits 88-91 with a clean, easy arm action. He has a curveball that sits in the mid 70s with 11/5 shape and he can throw it for strikes. He also plays up the middle and shows some pop at the plate, but his future is likely on the mound.

Overview: In 2016, the 6-foot-3 right-handed pitcher committed to North Carolina. Look for Casparius to continue to develop in his senior year with the chances of being apart of the draft.
