We would like to thank all who participated in The PBR New England 2021 Scout Day: Northern CT Mustangs/Boys of Summer. This was a great opportunity for 2021-2024 prospects to be put on college recruiting boards. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. 2021 Scout Day: Northern CT Mustangs/Boys of Summer - Quick Hits

The Players

• Austin Robert, 2021, RHH, showed above average power, length and lift to the pull side. Ran a 7.08 sixty-yard dash, long athletic strides. Threw well from outfield, clocked at 79 mph. 
• Bennett Simpson, 2022, RHP, a long and loose righty, works from a higher slot. The fastball was pounded low in the zone, reaching 82 mph, with arm side run. The breaking ball showed good spin, clocked a7 67 mph. 
• Bryce DiPiero, 2022, LHP, short and clean on the back side, working from a higher slot. The fastball was at 80 mph, we’ve seen it higher at times. The breaking ball  has a serious chance to be an out pitch, late depth, clocked at 67 mph. 
• Connor Clement, 2022, RHH/C, powerful at the plate, up to 94 mph, has enough juice to beat the pull side. Catching skills are solid behind the plate, durable, strong frame. 
• Connor Clifford, 2022, RHH/INF, a twitchy infielder, runs real well, ran 6.81 sixty-yard dash. The swing is short and crisp, a line drive approach.
• Michael Brosman, 2022, RHH/INF, short and quick swing, with length after, getting through it, with a gap to gap approach. The exit velocity was clocked at 89 mph. 
• Ryan Brimecombe, 2022, LHH/1B, powerful swing, middle to pull side, high potential to really hit and hit with power. Smooth around the bag, good feel with arm strength.
• Shaun Murray, 2022, RHP, a three pitch guy, clean arm from a higher slot, look for an increase in velocity. Threw both secondary pitches for strikes. 
• Traigh Skiffington, 2024, RHP, super clean arm, pounds the zone, fastball up 78 mph, both secondary pitches are advanced for his age/class. 
• Tyler LaRocque, 2022, RHH/OF, a plus athlete, ran a 6.76 sixty, is extremely quick. The swing is short and compact, throws average to a tick above. A major sleeper, looks to be very tough and loves to compete.
