As we finish up the 2024 season, we now continue our coverage of the talent we've seen up to this point in Colorado with 'Uncommitted Spotlights' of the top prospects still on the board in the senior class. While there's already prospects in the class committed to programs already, there remains a slew of high-end talent still available.

These spotlights help paint a picture of the prospect with the help of our TrackMan, Blast Motion, Swift Performance and Vizual Edge systems, that provides objective data that teams use to identify and break down players they believe will fit into their system.

Today, we continue our Top Uncommitted Spotlights with a look at 2025 SS/2B Ayden Wells of Highlands Ranch HS. Wells comes with an athletic frame that has produced a 6.8 60 yard dash, over a 97 mph top exit velocity, and a 75 mph bat speed. The infielder has flashed quality all around feel with some positive baseball IQ. In spring 2024 at the 5A level, Wells hit .412 with 5 doubles, 2 triples, a homerun, 16 stolen bases, and a 1.100 OPS across 82 plate appearances. Wells has earned himself a trip to this fall's West Coast Games as a top uncommitted prospect within Colorado.
