Uncommitted Spotlight: 2024 INF Wyatt Waterhouse
January 11, 2024
As we head into the 2024 season, we now continue our coverage of the talent we've seen up to this point in Colorado with 'Uncommitted Spotlights' of the top prospects still on the board in the senior class. While there's already prospects in the class committed to programs already, there remains a slew of high-end talent still available.
These spotlights help paint a picture of the prospect with the help of our TrackMan, Blast Motion, Swift Performance and Vizual Edge systems, that provides objective data that teams use to identify and break down players they believe will fit into their system.
Today, we continue our Top Uncommitted Spotlights with a look at 2024 INF Wyatt Waterhouse of Prairie View HS. Waterhouse is a developing athlete that comes with plenty of feel in the infield, and a quick bat. In spring 2023, Waterhouse hit .379 with a 1.052 OPS (82 plate appearances), 2 home runs and 9 stolen bases in the 5A Front Range League. We can also tell you that Waterhouse posted a 91 mph top exit velocity, racked up the hits, and played quality defense during this summer's Colorado State Games. The frame on Waterhouse is wiry and athletic right now which gives him plenty of upside in the near future as he continues to develop and gain strength.
