TOP OF RANKINGS NEWCOMERS:

Silas Meuli OF / 1B / Legend High School, CO / 2026

Meuli is certainly one to keep a close eye on heading into this year's Future Games as the left-handed hitting athlete displayed some advanced tools in showcases, and this spring. The Legend outfielder ran a 6.8 60 yard dash last year while he hit .358 with 4 doubles, a triple, and a home run across 83 plate appearances this spring as a sophomore. Meuli also only struckout 5 times all season and successfully stole 6 bases.

Cole Teltschik C / SS / Discovery Canyon, CO / 2026

Teltschik is another young prospect who moved towards the top of the rankings and will also be attending this year's Prep Baseball Future Games. The Discovery Canyon junior is tall and strong while having the ability to play a premium catcher position and some infield. In events, we have seen Teltschik down to a 1.91 best pop time with an 83 mph throwing velocity while he has posted exit velocities into the mid 90s with a 73 mph peak bat speed. In spring 2024, Teltschik crushed 5 home runs, 5 doubles, and hit for a .393 batting average with a team leading 1.289 OPS.

Chase Massey SS / 2B / REGIS JESUIT HIGH SCHOOL, CO / 2026

Massey has absolutely surged up the rankings after a very impressive spring campaign and presenting some higher level tools. The Regis Jesuit infielder only struckout 3 times across his 56 plate appearances this spring when he hit .354 with a HR, a double, and 7 stolen bases. The Prep Baseball Colorado staff also got a strong look on Massey during this year's Summer Kickoff event where he posted a 100.1 mph top exit velocity, a 78.4 mph max bat speed, a 7.00 60 yard dash time, and an 84 mph infield throwing velocity.

TOP RISERS:

Josh Weaver SS / 3B / Fruita Monument, CO / 2026

Weaver is another impressive young left-handed bat who had a big spring in Colorado. Across 75 plate appearances this season, Weaver hit for a .439 average with 4 doubles, a triple, a home run, and a 1.083 OPS. Weaver has a smooth swing from the left-side with plate coverage that has generated a 92 mph top exit velocity in past events. Look for Weaver to be a potential break-out candidate during this summer's Future Games.

Sam Eldredge RHP / 1B / Summit, CO / 2026

Eldredge is a name to note moving forward as the Prep Baseball Colorado staff watched him explode as a rising prospect in spring 2024. The Summit junior will be pitching at LakePoint in Georgia for this year's Future Games after displaying a fastball up to 88 mph this spring with a deceptive slider and pitchability. Across 48.2 innings at the 4A level in Colorado, Eldredge pitched to the tune of a 2.16 ERA with 74 strikeouts and 16 walks this spring. Eldredge is a physical athlete who also has some upside with the bat thanks to his .559 average, 9 doubles, 2 triples, 5 homers, 6 stolen bases, and a 1.610 OPS.
