The fall rankings update consists of 75 players from the Colorado 2027 class. This group of prospects includes some high-end arms at the top, actively developing athletes across the board, and some players with plenty of higher level baseball experience already. When creating our rankings, we consider various factors, such as skills, physical abilities, potential, projection, and on-field performance as well.

FEATURED PROSPECTS:

Jackson Crawford OF / LHP / Mountain Vista, CO / 2027

Crawford is Colorado's #1 ranked position player in his class as the underclassman displayed some higher level play during this year's Super Sophomore Games in Kansas City. The smooth left-handed swing on Crawford comes with plenty of whip and leverage in the lower half while he has generated a max exit velocity at 93 mph with a 75 mph bat speed. Crawford was able to take a plethora of quality at-bats in Kansas City and found the barrel quite often to all fields.

Winston Patterson RHP / OF / Ralston Valley, CO / 2027

Anson Zeschin 1B / OF / Regis Jesuit, CO / 2027

Advait Jadhav RHP / 1B / Mountain Vista, CO / 2027

Talan Borcherding 3B / RHP / Legend, CO / 2027

Borcherding comes in at 6'1'' with some long levers and a loose arm that was able to get the fastball up to 83 mph during this year's Legend scout day. We also saw pitchability from Borcherding with a serviceable curveball and changeup he could land for strikes. The sophomore's projectable frame should unlock even more velocity in the near future while he also displayed some two-way upside with a 90 mph top exit velocity in this event.

Colten Smith OF / RHP / Legend, CO / 2027

Smith was impressive all around during this year's Legend scout day thanks to a fastball up to 84 mph, a 6.77 60 yard dash time, an 89 mph outfield throwing velocity, and a 90 mph top exit velocity. The underclassman has a high ceiling on the mound thanks to his developing athleticism with a 6'2'' wiry frame.

Carson Reffel OF / 3B / Legend, CO / 2027

Yet another big winner from this year's Legend scout day was outfielder Carson Reffel. The athletic sophomore presented a relaxed and consistent swing that produced one of the better rounds of batting practice in recent events. Reffel topped out at a 94.1 max exit velocity and displayed gap to gap power with exceptional hands. The outfielder is actively developing right now and also ran a 6.90 60 yard dash.
