The fall rankings update consists of 170 players from the Colorado 2025 class. This group of prospects includes some very talented college commits, high-end uncommitted players at the top, plenty of actively developing athletes, and a deep talent pool overall. When creating our rankings, we consider various factors, such as skills, physical abilities, potential, projection, and on-field performance as well.

TOP UNCOMMITTED:

Trevor Gottsegen OF / 2B / Highlands Ranch High School, CO / 2025

Gottsegen remains atop the Colorado 2025 class rankings and is one of the best uncommitted players left in his class across the board. The senior provides some high-end athleticism while having the ability to play both centerfield and shortstop with feel. This summer, Gottsegen has gotten even better thanks to some exit velocities in the triple digits with a 60 yard dash time under 6.5. We have also seen Gottsegen register up to an 81 mph bat speed while his arm defensively can throw around 90 mph. The high-waisted athlete has an elite hit tool and one of the highest ceilings we've seen within the state over the last few years. In spring 2024, Gottsegen hit .440 with 4 HR, 3 3B, 5 2B, a 1.438 OPS, and 6 stolen bases across 65 plate appearances.

Adam Hayes RHP / 1B / Berthoud, CO / 2025

Hayes has absolutely surged up the rankings after an eye-opening showing during this year's Senior Future Games in Georgia. The fastball on Hayes sat from 89-91 mph, but with some outlier spin around 2700+ rpms. Hayes also presented a quality breaking ball around 79-80 mph (2500+ rpms) with some tight 12/6 action action. The senior has one of the more unique fastballs within the state which makes him a top uncommitted commodity as we wind down the 2024 seasons. 6'4'' with a strong and physical frame.

Jackson Pfister RHP / 1B / Grandview High School, CO / 2025

Pfister is an intriguing former Future Gamer who continues to develop. The senior comes in at over 6'2'' and has flashed a plus cut-fastball and slider over the last year with plenty of funk and deception. Pfister's fastball sits around 86-89 mph (2400+ rpms) with his slider coming in from 74-77 mph. We can also tell you that Pfister does have some two-way upside as well thanks to his 101 mph max exit velocity and a .372 average, 9 doubles, 2 triples, and 2 home runs from this last spring.

Alvin Jarrell RHP / OF / Lewis Palmer , CO / 2025

Jarrell comes in at over 6'1'' with a wiry and athletic frame that has already produced a fastball up to 91 mph. The senior has a loose and quick arm which should only continue to develop as he gets stronger. Jarrell throws a curveball, slider, and changeup to go with his advanced fastball which helped him generate 85 strikeouts across 56.1 innings at the 4A/5A level this spring.

Jackson Tuttle RHP / 3B / Highlands Ranch, CO / 2025

Tuttle is another quick riser over the last year as the senior has gotten the fastball consistently around 90 mph with pitchability. During this year's Colorado State Games, Tuttle's fastball sat 88-90 (~2300 rpms) with a serviceable slider and curveball he could throw for strikes. Tuttle comes with an athletic/strong frame that is actively developing and has earned himself a trip to this fall's West Coast Games in California as a top uncommitted 2025 prospect.

Brody Ceyrolles 2B / C / Cherokee Trail High School, CO / 2025

Tyler Harvey LHP / 1B / Legend, CO / 2025

Ross Frank RHP / C / Rocky Mountain, CO / 2025

Christian Lopez OF / LHP / Regis Jesuit, CO / 2025

Lopez is another speedster who is still uncommitted and comes with a higher ceiling from the left-side. This spring, Lopez flashed some unique feel and range in center field while being the lead-off hitter for the 5A State runner-ups. We have seen Lopez down to a 6.41 60 yard dash time with a 92 mph outfield throwing velocity. Lopez also has some real whip in the bat thanks to his 78 mph max bat speed with a 92 mph top exit velocity. Outlier speed with twitchy strength and plenty more left to unlock.

TOP RISERS:

Gavin Cronin OF / 2B / Regis Jesuit, CO / 2025

Cronin is now committed to The United States Air Force for baseball and has been one of the most tooled up prospects during showcases. The senior has produced a 6.5 60 yard dash, a 99 mph exit velocity, 80 mph bat speed, and a 92 mph outfield throwing velocity. Cronin has an aggressive approach in games with pop to all fields while flashing quality outfield instincts.

Ethin Woltz RHP / 1B / Cherokee Trail, CO / 2025

Woltz is a tall and strong right-handed arm that has earned himself a commitment to the University of New Mexico. The senior has some easy arm strength with a fastball around 87-89 mph (~2300 rpms) and a quality curveball from 75-79 mph (also with around 2300 rpms of spin). Woltz has the ability to keep a consistent arm action for deception while we have seen him be able to generate whiffs all over the zone with the full arsenal.

Parker Aaron C / 2B / Horizon High School, CO / 2025

It is not very often you find a true switch-hitting catcher, but Parker Aaron is quite the talented exception right now within the state. Aaron will be attending Grand Canyon University for baseball in spring 2026 after he has continued to impress across the board. The toolset on Aaron brings mid 90s exit velocities from either side of the plate, a 6.9 60 yard dash, and an 85 mph catcher throwing velocity. Aaron also hit .350 with 5 doubles, a triple, 4 homers, and over a 1.000 OPS across 101 plate appearances this spring at the 5A level.

Hunter Morgan OF / SS / Lewis-Palmer, CO / 2025

Morgan is another uncommitted tooled up athlete in Colorado that needs to be noted. During the Colorado State Games, Morgan posted a 94 mph outfield throwing velocity, a 6.9 60 yard dash, and a 93 mph top exit velocity. The senior comes in at 6'2'' with a strong and athletic frame. As a junior last spring, Morgan hit .322 with 17 stolen bases, 5 doubles, and a home run at the 4A/5A level.
