PBR Colorado strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state.  While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

We recently did a series on the top uncommitted pop-times, 60-times, arm velos, and exit velocities. Now we are doing a series on our Top 5 overall numbers for each class.

Top 2020 60 Times:

Blake Mosenteen, Holyoyke, SS/OF
60 Time: 7.09
5-foot-11, 155 pounds. Bats and throws right. Starts in a crouch then loads hands and weight back. Very short stride. Slightly uphill swing. Up the middle line drive hitter. Can get a little too mechanical sometimes. Just needs to loosen up a bit. Produced a 74 mph exit velo off the tee. In the field attacks the ball and gets his feet underneath him when he throws. Comes from a high 3/4 arm slot. Threw 71 mph across the diamond. Ran a 7.09 laser timed 60.

Connor Ryan, ThunderRidge, OF/2B
60 Time: 7.16
5-foot-10, 150-pound right hand hitting OF/2B who ran a 7.16 60.  At the plate he has a wide set up with a short stride on the pitch.  Hands sweep through the zone and create an uphill sing path.  Exit velocity was 78 MPH.  In the field he moves well to the ball.  He showed smooth actions and a quick release.  Arm velocity  was 66 MPH with accuracy to the bag.

Gavin Roberts, Chaparral, SS/2B
60 Time: 7.56
6-foot, 140 pounds. Bats and throws right. Athletic looking player with a ton of potential. Tall stance with toe tap stride. No load. Line drive hitter to both gaps. Bat stays in hitting zone through extension. Bottom hand dominant. Generated a 78 mph exit velocity off tee. Like actions in the field and looks like a shortstop. Good hand to glove transfer with strong arm across diamond for age at 78 mph. Ran a 7.56 60 time.  

Brady McLean, Columbine, LHP/OF
60 Time: 7.58
A 5-foot-9, 145-pound right hand hitting LHP/OF.  Stands slightly open with a slight crouch at the plate with short stride. Looks like he settles for contact at times when he could extend through the ball more through hitting zone.  Weight transfers forward and he hits off his front side. Registered a 77 mph exit velocity. In the field he is smooth through the ball and delivers an accurate ball to the bag. On the mound has polished mechanics for his age. Comes from a high 3/4 arm slot, is square and in-line with the plate with good extension out front.  Fastball was 74-75 mph. Ran a 7.9 laser timed 60. 

Andrew Naha, Denver East, C/OF
60 Time: 7.60
6-foot-1, 155 pounds. Bat and throws right. Has a balanced athletic stance. Line drive swing with very good extension through the hitting zone with gap to gap power. Exit velocity was 78 mph. In the outfield had one of the top arm velocities at 80 mph from right field. Showed good actions. Behind the dish is athletic. Could use some coaching on technique. Has slight pause in throws but still was able to get pop-time of 2.01 off coach. Arm velo behind dish was 72 mph. Ran a 7.6 laser timed 60. Prospect to follow.
