Q&A with '23 Holden Pantier

The Erie Tigers' and Colorado Yard Dawgs' third baseman sat down with the PBR Colorado staff to talk about the upcoming baseball season and how his recruitment process is going. Holden Pantier also discussed his trip to Georgia for the Future Games and what it was like to play with some of the top talent in the nation.
Holden also gives his outlook on Erie's upcoming season and what his goals are.

Q&A with Holden Pantier
Q: You attended the Future Games in Georgia. When you left the event and headed back to Colorado, what was your overall impression of the event?
Pantier: I thought it was a great event, I got to compete against the best competition in the nation and see how I stacked up, all while getting exposure and playing with many of my teammates from the summer.
Q: What has the recruiting process been like for you now and before the Future Games?
Pantier: The schools that I have been in contact with hasn’t changed but many of the schools that I was talking to were able to come watch me play.
Q: What was it like playing with some of the top talent in the nation at at the Future Games?
Pantier: It was an amazing experience, I was able to see how I competed against some of the top talent in the nation.
Q: What are you most excited about for the ’22 high school season?
Pantier: I am excited to see how far Erie can go into playoffs this year, we have a lot of talent and potential. I feel that we can make lots of noise with how we play this year.
Q: What goals do you have for the upcoming season and future?
Pantier: For this upcoming season I want to become the best baseball player I can, I want to make my growth noticeable by raising the overall play of my game. My other goal would be to commit to a college program this summer.
Q: Lastly, out of all the PBR events you have attended in your career, what has PBR meant to you during your time playing baseball in Colorado?
Pantier: PBR has been very helpful with getting my name out there, my favorite part was playing for Team Colorado at the Future Games and being a part of contributing to our weekend showing other states and programs what the athletes in our state are capable off.
