PBR Colorado All-Colorado Team: Pitchers

PBR Colorado will be presenting the the PBR All-Colorado Team over the course of the next week. Players chosen for the PBR All-Colorado Team are players that not only performed well during the season, helped their team have success on the field, but also were seen in front of the PBR Colorado scouting staff in the form of a past PBR Colorado events or a game. We kicked off the PBR All-Colorado team with the Outfielders, the Corners, Catcher/DH, and Middle Infielders/Utility. Today we conclude with the Pitchers
Pitchers
Riley Cornelio RHP / SS / Pine Creek , CO / 2019Committed to Texas Christian. 6-foot-3, 190 pounds. The right handed pitcher had a dominating on the mound for the Pine Creek Eagles leading them to the 5A Final 4 and a 20 and 4 overall team record. Armed with a low to mid 90's fastball, Cornelio went 9-0 in 53.2 innings pitched striking out 85 while only giving up 35 hits. His ERA was a microscopic 0.91. Cornelio also contributed at the plate hitting .468 with 11 doubles and 4 homeruns.

Riley Egloff RHP / C / Heritage, CO / 2018Rankings StateRank: 4 / POS: 2
Committed to YavaPai CC. 6-foot-4, 205 pounds. Armed with a lower 90's fastball, the right handed pitcher ended his high school career leading the Eagles to the 5A State Championship game by going 7-1 in 58 innings with a 2.62 ERA. Egloff struck out 68 batters while only walking 6. Egloff, a four-year varsity starter, would end with a high school career with a 20-10 career record.

Dalton Chandler RHP / 1B / Lamar , CO / 2018Rankings StateRank: 8 / POS: 5
Committed to Cal State Northridge. 6-foot-4, 215 pounds. In 2018, Chandler was too dominant for 3A competition. Chandler helped lead the Savages to the 3A State Championship game, and a overall 24 and 3 team record by going 6-0 in 52.2 innings with a 0.80 ERA. Chandler struck out an impressive 121 batters with a fastball that lives 92-93 mph. Even more impressive was he only gave up 6 hits on the season while throwing 4 no-hitters and one perfect game. Chandler also helped contribute on offense hitting .438 driving in 32 runs.

Jack Liffrig LHP / Mountain Vista, CO / 2018Rankings StateRank: 16 / POS: 1
Committed to Utah. 6-foot-1, 195 pounds. The left handed pitcher helped lead the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles to their first 5A state championship by going a perfect 11-0 on the mound. In 77 innings Liffrig struck out 85 batters, carrying a 1.72 ERA. Liffrig finishes his high school career with an unprecedented 24-0 record.

Brayden Brooks 3B / RHP / Mountain Range, CO / 2018Rankings StateRank: 48 / POS: 4
Committed to Regis University. 5-foot-11, 185 pounds. Brooks came on very strong in 2018 leading the Mountain Range Mustangs to the 5A Final 4, and one win away to the 5A state championship. A fastball that lives in the upper 80's, Brooks threw 60 innings and struck out 91 batters while only giving up 31 hits. His ERA was 2.72 while going 3 and 2 on the season. In 123 career high school innings pitched, Brooks would strike out 154 batters.
