QUICK HITS: 2025 Players to Follow
On Feb. 20, the PBR COLORADO team hosted a Junior Futures Trials at the Marucci Clubhouse in Castle Rock, CO. The event is in a series of Junior Future events. The Junior Future Games This event served multiple purposes. First, an opportunity for young players to become familiar with showcases and the recruiting process. Players were able to create a baseline set of numbers to improve on as they progress.
Second, this event was used as a selection process for players for the 2021 PBR Junior Future Games. The JFG's will take place the last week of July at LakePoint in Cartersville, GA. The four day event will feature the top 2025 & 2026 prospects from around the county.
Today, we highlight 2 Top Players in the Colorado 2025 Class and a South Dakota native that had great great performances in the event.
2025, Ethan Sanchez, LHP/1B, Legacy Found a great rhythm in BP round. Middle of the field approach. Exit Velo 84. Plus Bat Speed. Room for refinement. LHP, simple movements with balance for delivery transitions to attacking release. FB 78.1. High ¾ release. Very Good Athlete
2025, Parker Jimenez, 1B/LHP, Rocky Mountain Parker produced impressive numbers on the mound and at the plate. Big Frame, LHH, quick hands with POP. Exit Velo 90. Great path for young hitter. LHP, was up to 79.5 with attacking delivery. Pounded the zone with mix of FB and OS. Top 2025 Colorado Follow
2025, Jackson Dial, RHP/3B, Rapid City Stevens, South Dakota. Solid BP round in event. Strong base with balance produces strong rear side acceleration. Great line drive path, with strength still coming. Exit Velo 77. Projectable hitter!
