Inside Look at 2021 Colorado Players Making First Updated and Expanded 2021 Rankings

The 2021 class is quickly growing up with many players gaining valuable experience at the varsity level this spring. All across the PBR landscape, our boots-on-the-ground staff has quickly become acquainted with the impressive crop of freshmen. They have made themselves known with loud performances in games, as well as exhibiting strong tool sets that will continue to develop.

With PBR’s extensive winter and spring coverage, combined with the addition of Alabama and California (Georgia will enter in the next update) to our coverage area, the 2021 Overall Rankings doubles in size to 150 players. It is important to note that the PBR Overall Rankings only reflect the states that we intimately cover.

Though new recruiting regulations may slow down the process of underclass commitments in the future, more than half (84 of 150) of the players on the expanded list have made verbal commitments to college programs including seven to Miami (four in the top 30), and five each to Florida International, Louisville and Vanderbilt. Louisiana State and Wake Forest each check in with four commitments. The vast majority of these commitments were made prior to the new recruiting regulations being put in place, so it will be interesting to follow the trend moving forward.
