The Regular Season is wrapping up, teams are making a push for the playoffs. Here is a look at action from this past weekend.
Grandview (9-2) 8 Arapahoe (2-9) 4
Game 1 Wolves 2 Warriors 1
Grandview could only put up 2 runs out of 11 hits, and pitcher Grant Schroeder (2016) held Arapahoe to just 3 hits in 7 innings while striking out 7 Warriors.
Game 2 Arapahoe took an early lead going up 4-0 after the first, but Grandview put up 7 runs in the bottom of 6th to win the two games series with Arapahoe on Saturday. Zach Sundine (2016) led the way for the Wolves going 2 for 4 with 3 RBI’s.
Thunderridge (10-2) 4 Heritage (10-3-1) 5
Even though the Grizzlies out hit the Eagles 15 to 6 they could only put up 4 runs in their loss Saturday. Heritage was led by, Dalton Thorpe (2016) he went 1 for 3, with a home run, and 3 RBI’s. Thunderridge was led by, Jake Eissler (2016) who had 2 RBI’s and Reese Lansville (2018) who was 3 for 3 with an RBI.
Dakota Ridge (8-5) 13 Columbine (7-8) 6
Dakota Ridge scored 7 runs in the 3 to blow the game wide open, and cruised to an easy win over the Rebels.
Legacy (11-1) 5 Loveland (3-8) 1
Legacy was led by Bradon O’Connor (2017) who had 2 RBI’s, and pitcher Joseph Jaramillo (2017) pitched 7 innings allowing only 3 hits and no earned runs.
Fort Collins (10-2) 10 Fairview (5-7) 8
Kyler Paterson (2016) had a big game for Fort Collins, Kyler was 2 for 3, with an HR and 4 RBI’s, and Nathan Dill (2017) was 2 for 3 as well with 2 RBI’s.
Pueblo East (8-7) 6 Pueblo Centennial (11-3) 4
Pueblo East’s Jeremiah Arellano (2017) had a great day at the plate going 3 for 4, scoring 3 runs, and driving in 1 run, and pitcher Trevor Pacheco (2018) gave up only 2 runs in 5 1/3 innings.
