League play is underway in all classification, here is a look at action from yesterday.

Daily Roundup:

Legacy 8 Greeley West
Legacy was down going into the bottom of the 3^rd inning 3 to 1, but then scored 3 in that inning and added another run in the 5^th and 3 more in the 6^th to beat Greeley West on Thursday.  Legacy’s Colby Deaville (2017) had 3 RBI’s, and DJ Daugherty (2017) was 4 for 4 with an RBI, to lead the Lightning.

Broomfield 4 Boulder 1
Broomfield put up 2 runs in the top of the first inning and only allowed Boulder to score 1 run in the bottom of the 3^rd inning in their game Thursday.  Mason Speirs (2017) led the way offensively going 2 for 3 with a home run and driving in 2 runs.  Pitching for the Eagles was Blake Rohm (2017) who threw 7 innings allowing 4 hits, and striking out 5 Panther batters.

Bear Creek 7 Lakewood 6
Lakewood, trailing 7 to 5 going into the bottom of the 7^th, was only able to put up 1 run, and lost a tough one on Thursday.  Bear Creeks’ Walker Rumsey (2017) had a great game going 3 for 4 with 3 RBI’s.

Sand Creek 9 Vista Ridge 8
With Vista Ridge leading the game 8 to 3 going into the bottom of the 7^th inning, Sand Creek exploded and scored 6 runs to win the game in the bottom of the 7^th.  For Sand Creek, Nathan Gipprich (2018) went 2 for 5 with 2 RBI’s, and for Vista Ridge Kahner Sampson had a great game going 2 for 4 with 4 RBI’s.

Dakota Ridge 11 Columbine 0
Dakota Ridge scored 6 runs in the 1^st inning, and added another 4 in the top of the 7^th to win this league game on Thursday.  Eagle’s pitcher Carter Akerfelds (2017) threw 5.2 innings allowing just 5 hits to go along with 6 K’s.  At the plate Pablo Huizar (2017) was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI’s, Alex Overlie (2019) was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s and Gabe Kerrick (2019) was 1 for 3 with 2 RBI’s.
