Boyd was a standout during his high school career at Legend HS before joining a strong Oregon State program. He attended the Super 60 back in 2019 when he ran a 6.75, was 88mph across the diamond and had a 97mph exit velo. The Colorado native was the offensive spark plug for the Beavers this past spring as the team went 48-18 and fell one game shy of the College World Series in Omaha. He batted .373 this spring with 9 home runs and an additional 18 extra-base hits.
Below is a look at Boyd as a high school prospect back in 2019, followed by a look at him during the PAC12 tournament this past May.

Morris played on the high school stage for Monarch HS and would originally stay in-state for his college career, playing two full seasons + the COVID-19 season at Colorado Mesa. He immediately made an impact as a freshman, working 69.2 innings with nine starts and a 3.88 ERA.
In his final year at Colorado Mesa, 2021, Morris took his game to the next level. He went 9-0 across 11 starts with a 2.19 ERA and 115 strikeouts to just 19 walks. The strong sophomore season saw him transfer to Texas Tech where he worked as a starter. He had a 4.58 ERA for the Red Raiders and had 91 strikeouts to 28 walks over 88.1 innings of work.

RHP Riley Cornelio (Monument, CO) - Nationals, Round 7 (201)
Cornelio was Colorado's top-ranked prospect back in 2019 when he was No. 142 on PBR's National Rankings. It's common concensus if it weren't for his strong commitment to TCU that he would have been selected out of Pine Creek HS three years ago.
Cornelio made four appearances as a freshman for the Horned Frogs before COVID-19 shut down the season. He worked just 7.1 innings as a sophomore but a strong junior year that saw him work 75.0 innings elevated him to draft prospect status once again. Cornelio currently works with a fastball that sits in the mid 90s that's been up to 99mph, along with a slider in the mid 80s that can work into the upper 80s and a developing changeup.
