COLORADO COMMITMENT TRACKER
The commitment wire has been hot throughout the entire month of November and Colorado added four more to that list this past week. Our seniors continue to fly off the board with three more, including a pair from the West Coast Games prospects, signing as well as our 7th Future Games player from this summer to commit.

Brant Kragel 1B / RHP / Valor Christian, CO / 2022
Walters State CC
Kragel is an intriguing two-way player we had at the West Coast games this past summer. He stands out with his ability to impact a game on either side of the ball but the size, strength and athletic movement jump out as well from the 6-foot-4, 210-pound Valor Christian HS product. Kragel was 87 across the diamond with a top exit velocity of 93 mph. He sat 86-88 on the mound with sink (2,022 avg. spin) and can spin the curveball with a developing changeup. Kragel’s continued to trend upwards and joins a Walters State program that went 61-7 in 2021 with a trip to the NJCAA College World Series.

Codi Trebelhorn RHP / 1B / Cherry Creek, CO / 2022
MSU Denver
We saw 2022 Codi Trebelhorn during the spring High School season where we had him up to 87 mph for Cherry Creek. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound right-hander sat at 84-86 mph with his fastball and mixed in a slider at 76 mph. There’s good mechanics and tempo in his delivery from a high ¾ arm slot. Our staff has continued to see Trebelhorn get better every time out since we first saw him back in 2018. The Cherry Creek right-hander will stay in-state as he heads to MSU Denver.

New Mexico JC
Another West Coast Gamer to announce his commitment this past week, 2022 middle infielder Jayden Benavidez was a standout in Vegas. The arm strength and actions at shortstop jumped out immediately and his 88 mph across the diamond was second best at the West Coast Games. A little undersized at 5-foot-9, 150-pounds but Benavidez does a lot of things right on the diamond and there’s good bat speed from the right side of the plate. His offensive game is consistent at the dish where the pop continues to join his game. Benavidez now joins a strong Mexico JC program.

Sean Marlow C / SS / Mountain Vista, CO / 2023
University of St. Thomas
Our 7th 2021 Future Games player to commit, 2023 Sean Marlow is high energy, quick twitch player who can play several different positions. He has great actions behind the dish with a strong arm and pop times of 1.83 - 1.84. Marlow also displays the actions and range to play up the middle. The 5-foot-9, 165-pound right-handed hitter doesn’t get cheated at the plate and works to the middle of the field. The bat plays and will continue to develop over the next two years before Marlow heads to the University of St. Thomas.
