Colorado 2019 Commitment Tracker: OF Trevor Hazlett of Frederick HS Commits to Corban University
November 25, 2018
PBR Colorado strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state. While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

A 6-foot-0, 145-pound switch hitting OF who ran a 7.06 60. From the left side he stands slightly open. Long stride to come square with an uphill swing path. Hands stay inside the ball and he hits to all fields. Exit velocity was 78 from the left side. Aggressive from the right side, quick stride and load and lower half explodes through the zone. Swing path is level and exit velocity was 77 mph. In the field he is athletic and plays the game with good instincts. Does a nice job cutting down the angle on the ball and throws from an over the top arm slot. Arm was 78 mph from the field.
1-29-31
5-foot-11, 140 pounds. Switch hitter, throws right. Solid foundation of skills. Liked what we saw from both sides of the plate. Spray hitter at times for now, but looks comfortable from both sides. Slight uphill swing from both sides but gets money's worth. Good extension through the ball. Exit velo was 79 mph from both sides. Only slight change is can be pull happy on right side. In OF has good foundation. Charges ball aggressively. Confident. Was 70 mph from high 3/4 arm slot. Ran one of the better home to first times at 4.3. Strong makeup.
10.9.16
A 5-foot-10, 140-pound switch hitting OF who ran a 7.30 60. At the plate we saw him from the left side. He is balanced and square at set up. He doubles strides, once to load on the back side and then to bring his weight forward on the swing. Hands are quick through the zone and swing is compact. Showcased great bat control to all fields. Exit velocity was 72 MPH. In the field he showed good instincts and anticipation on balls. He does a good job of squaring up and fielding through the ball. Delivery is over the top and he showed an accurate 70 MPH arm.
