32 teams were in action on Saturday at 8 District sites.  Teams have to win 2 games in this single elimination format to advance to the round of 8.  Prep Baseball Report takes a look at the teams who reached the Final 8 and the road they took to get there. 

District 1:
The Reds will move on to the Final 8 with 2 convincing wins.

Eaton 12 Olathe 2
The Reds were led in game one by Dalton Lind who went 2-4 with 2 runs and2 RBI and JT Mossberg on the mound who went 5 innings giving up 3 hits, 2 runs and struck out 11.

Joe Mondragon led the Reds in game two going 3-4 with 2 runs and 1 RBI 

District 2:
Kent Denver advances to the Final 8 to play Eaton with 2 wins Saturday.

Matt Wells led the way for the Sun Devils going 2-3 with 1 run.

The Sun Devils were led by Parker Evans in game two, he was 2-3 at the plate with 1 run and 3 RBI.

District 3:
Lamar gives up 1 run in 2 games to advance to the Final 8.
Lamar 10 Centauri 0
Braden Forney led the way for Lamar in game one throwing a no-hitter.  He went 5 innings with 0 hits, 0 runs and he struck out 10.

Dalton Chandler took the mound for Lamar in game 2 and went 7 innings allowing 6 hits, 1 run and he collected 7 K’s.

District 4:
Faith Christian out scores their opponents 16-3 to advance to the Final 8.

Adam Buchman was the spark for the Eagles going 3-5 with 2 runs and 5 RBI.

Austin Stone leads the way for the Eagles on the mound going 7 innings of no hit ball giving up 0 runs and striking out 11. 

District 5:
St. Mary’s uses strong pitching and timely hitting to advance to the Final 8.

St. Mary’s 6 Platte Canyon 0
Jacob Brummel took the mound and went 7 innings giving up 2 hits, 0 runs and collected 5 K’s.  TJ English provided the offense going 2-3 with 1 run and 2 RBI.

District 6:
The only upset of the districts saw 11 seed Manitou Springs collect 2 wins to move on to the Final 8.

Sean Whalen led the way in game one and was 2-4 with 1 run and 2 RBI.

Manitou Springs 7 La Junta 3
Sean Whalen picked up where he left off and went 2-3 with 3 RBI. 

District 7:
University out scores it opponents 25-1 in their 2 games on Saturday to move on to the Final 8.

University 18 Sky View Academy 0
Cameron Multer was dominate for the Bulldogs going 5 innings of no-hit ball with 0 runs and 4 K’s.

University 7 Peak to Peak 1
Beau Hawley led the way going 2-4 with 2 RBI for the Bulldogs. 

District 8:
Valley played two tight games and came away with the victories to push them on to the Final 8.

Valley 5 Bishop Machebeuf 1
Raul Rios was the spark for the Vikings in game 1, going 1-2 with 2 RBI.

Valley 6 Gunnison 5
Shawn Chacon led the way in game 2 going 1-3 with 3 RBI.
