2024 CHSAA TEAM PREVIEW: MOUNTAIN VISTA HS
March 1, 2024
The Colorado high school baseball season kicks off on March 7, opening day for regular season action under CHSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2024 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down through the official Prep Baseball Colorado Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

2024 SEASON OUTLOOK:
Coach Quintana has a stout pitching staff returning for 2024, along with some capable bats. The Mountain Vista rotation not only has some high-powered arms at the top, but they have plenty of depth to keep rolling out tough pitchers against their opponents. Grant Shepardson, Chase Ruden, and Will Niles have the ability to beat almost any team in the state while they will be pitching to a reliable backstop in Spike Magill who is already committed to playing Division I baseball. The road is always extremely tough for 5A Colorado squads, but Mountain Vista has an intriguing roster this spring.
