The Colorado high school baseball season kicks off on March 7, opening day for regular season action under CHSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2024 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down through the official Prep Baseball Colorado Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

2024 SEASON OUTLOOK:

Fossil Ridge comes into 2024 with plenty of experience and depth for the spring season. There should be some strong contributors from the senior, junior, and sophomore classes with high ceiling prospects across the board. This program already has 7 college commits, including Division I commits; Owen Morgan, Vedant Sharma, and Easton Miller. These three prospects will likely help carry the load across the board, while there is a plethora of stout players who should be productive alongside them this spring. Fossil Ridge is certainly a team to keep a close eye on in 2024, but they do have to navigate the always tough Front Range league once again.
