The Colorado high school baseball season kicks off on March 7, opening day for regular season action under CHSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2024 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down through the official Prep Baseball Colorado Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

2024 SEASON OUTLOOK:

The Panthers didn’t have a ton of success in 2023, but many of the players that are returning for 2024 got their first taste of varsity baseball last spring. Coach Whitehead likes his team’s chances in 2024 since they have built up chemistry and experience as a whole. The Panthers also return two arms who ate up a combined 52 innings last year, and a couple of now seasoned junior hitters. Things are never easy for any team in the 5A Front Range league, but the Panthers have a great chance to better themselves in 2024.
