2023 CHSAA Season Preview: Rock Canyon HS

The Colorado high school season is nearing quickly, and we're here to cover it. Over the next several weeks, leading up to opening day, we'll publish our team previews ahead of the 2023 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, leading into a countdown through the official PBR Colorado Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

OUTLOOK:
Rock Canyon could be in for a fun season as they are returning 14 players from last year’s roster. This team also has a plethora of strong pitching options at their disposal to help get them through the tougher Continental League. We saw Rock Canyon draw production from the junior and sophomore class last spring as numerous hitters posted higher level numbers. One player to really watch out for is Chase Jaworsky who is going to be playing college ball after this spring and posted a .478 average, 1.599 OPS, and 10 homers in 2022. Look out for these Jaguars this spring.
