2023 CHSAA Season Preview: Riverdale Ridge HS

The Colorado high school season is nearing quickly, and we're here to cover it. Over the next several weeks, leading up to opening day, we'll publish our team previews ahead of the 2023 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, leading into a countdown through the official PBR Colorado Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

OUTLOOK:
The Ravens are making a name for themselves in 4A baseball as they lost in the 2nd round of playoffs in 2022 despite being a relatively new program. This unit will be returning some key starters from last season, including their ace Ty Thompson and fellow senior Daniel Hoodak, who should also be in the pitching rotation. The offense will also have some familiar names returning, but there will be some opportunities for new and younger players to step into starting roles. If the Ravens can continue to develop talent, they should be able to make some noise with this group in 2023.
