OUTLOOK:
The Wildcats are looking to win the 5A Southwest league again in 2023 as they have plenty of impact juniors coming into this year. Senior Logan Cardoza should also be considered a potential carrier for this squad, as he posted a .484 batting average with nearly a 1.300 OPS last year. This team should have a slew of stout hitters, but pitching could be pivotal to the Wildcats’ overall success in 5A.
