2023 CHSAA Season Preview: Eaglecrest HS

The Colorado high school season is nearing quickly, and we're here to cover it. Over the next several weeks, leading up to opening day, we'll publish our team previews ahead of the 2023 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, leading into a countdown through the official PBR Colorado Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

OUTLOOK:
The Raptors are another program looking to get some production out of their youth as they only return two varsity upperclassmen from last year. The good news is they did get some quality production from their underclassmen on the varsity level in 2022, which should bode well for them in the coming years. Connor Brennan is a young arm to keep an eye on from Eaglecrest since he chucked 33.2 innings with 42 Ks in one of the hardest leagues in Colorado as a freshman last season. If Eaglecrest can get early offense from their seniors, we could see the Raptors surprise some teams in 5A baseball.
