Mike Anderson
Colorado Scouting Director

The 2021 PBR Future Games has come and gone. The event featured the top uncommitted 2023 and 2024 players around the country representing their home state in front of over 350+ college coaches. Team Colorado had high energy and talented squad who showcased their abilities all week.  Team Colorado went  3-0 with wins over PBR Select, Oklahoma and Utah.  Just as impressive, was our players' individual GPA’s.  Their futures are bright as the true definition of Student-Athletes.

Today, we highlight: Walker Martin

2023, Walker Martin, Eaton, SS, (Slammers) Growth and development are evident in Walker’s upward trend. Runs a 6.87 60-yard dash. He has noticeable difference in height and strength gain. While his swing usually catches your attention, his defensive skill set at shortstop has shown the most improvement. Great range left and right, finds a way for feet and hands to play though ball, plus hands fielding and around the 2B. Arm velocity of 83. As a left-handed hitter he has plus hand speed with ability to go opposite field. Direct path with line drive tendency and has ability to keep hands inside fastball in. Power potential in the future. Exit velocity of 99. One of the top prospects in the state of Colorado.
