We invite you to get to know them through the eyes of our Prep Baseball California staff of scouts both through our in person looks at players and/or the data-backed numbers collected at our events with our partnered companies. TrackMan, Blast Motion, Swift Performance, and Visual Edge provide comparable data to project and evaluate players. All of these systems come together to give a clear picture at what colleges will get when a players steps onto their campus.

Today, we put the spotlight on the number 66 ranked player in the 2026 class in SoCal '26 RHP/OF Logan Steenburgen from El Dorado High School. With a strong frame at 6'3 200 lbs. while showing athleticisim with room to continue adding to it. Logan has an interesting foundation of tools and has show well both at the 2024 Future Games Tryout: OC & Spring Invitational Tournament in addition to other Prep Baseball California events.. During the workout portions of the Future Games Tryout: OC Steenburgen ran atime of 6.84 seconds in the 60 yard dash with a top run speed of 20.2 MPH. He shows the actions moving around during defensive work and in game action to potentially play all 3 OF spots. While showing a potential to be strong defender he also displays strong tools on the offensive side with strength in his RH bat. During batting practice Steenburgen consistently genereated hard contact with lift to the middle and pull side of the field including a peak EV at 94.6 MPH with 82.5 MPH average EV and a 71% sweet spot rate at the Future Games Tryout: OC. In addition, he adds to his overall profile with a solid 3 pitch mix working with a 82-85 MPH FB that shows life down in the zone pairing it with a softer CB at 68-70 MPH which he can throw for strikes and an interesting 71-75 MPH SLD that shows potential. Steenburgen saw action on the varsity level as a sophomore with El Dorado with playing time both as a hitter and on the mound. His performance was stronger as a pitcher this year, but should have plenty of chance to contribute on both sides of the game going forward for the Golden Hawks. With his athleticism, physically projectable frame, foundation of tools both as a position player and pitcher with an emerging feel for the game there is plenty of up arrow signs for Steenburgen as a player to keep close eyes on over his final 2 years of high school/travel baseball.
