The Uncommitted Spotlight Series continues as the summer circuit is getting underway Prep Baseball California is beginning to highlight some of the top uncommitted class of '26 athletes ahead of the August, 1st contact date for this class. The player featured today is one of the top players in the state of California and figures prominently in our Class of 2026 Rankings. The players featured within our Uncommitted Spotlight series are ones that college coaches and fans should be keeping their eyes on over the coming months.
We invite you to get to know them through the eyes of our Prep Baseball California staff of scouts both through our in person looks at players and/or the data-backed numbers collected at our events with our partnered companies. TrackMan, Blast Motion, Swift Performance, and Visual Edge provide comparable data to project and evaluate players. All of these systems come together to give a clear picture at what colleges will get when a players steps onto their campus.
Today, we put the spotlight on the number 62 ranked player in the 2026 class in SoCal '26 OF Vincent Milo from Santa Margarita Catholic High School. With an athletic frame that has some present strength to it at 6'2 185 lbs. while still showing room to continue adding to it. Milo has interesting athleticism, defensive tools and offensive ability which he has shown at various Prep Baseball California events for our across the board for our staff including being a part of the 2024 Future Games Tryout: OC & OC Preseason ID. During the workout portions of Prep Baseball California events Milo has run a top time of 6.84 seconds in the 60 yard dash with a top run speed of 19.5 MPH. He shows the actions moving around during defensive work and in game play portions of events with the arm strength to profile as a potential CF defender who can handle RF in addition giving him premium defensive upside to handle two priority defensive positions. While Milo projects to be a strong defender with potential to stick at a premium defensive spots he also displays strong tools on the offensive side with strength in his RH bat. During batting practice sessions Milo has consistently genereated hard contact with lift to the middle and pull side of the field including a peak EV at 97.6 MPH with 92.5 MPH average EVs including a max distance of 370' on a pull side HR and flashed a 100% sweet spot rate at the Future Games Tryout: OC during batting practice. With his athleticism, physically projectable frame, foundation of tools on the offensive/defensive side and continually developing feel for the game there is plenty of up arrow signs for Milo as a player to keep close eyes on over his final 2 years of high school/travel baseball.

Body: 6-2, 185-pounds. Athletic frame with present strength
Hit: RHH. Even sance with hands by his ear. Calm and controlled load. Wide base, doesn’t get deep into legs. Consistently pulls the ball in the air.
Power: 94 max exit velocity, averaged 82.9 mph. 348' max distance. Path has lift with a consistent ability to drive the ball in the air. Carries well to the pull side. Shows middle of the field/pull side HR power potential.
Arm: RH. OF-81 mph. Smooth quick arm stroke with life to his throws. Ball shows carry with online accuracy.
Defense: Smooth athletic actions with body control. Feel for his footwork and a clean transfer.
ATH: 6.84 runner in the 60. Good burst off the line with explosive running actions.
