Prep Baseball California will be highlighting some of the top uncommitted class of '26 athletes as we have passed the August, 1st contact date for this class. The player featured today is one of the top players in the state of California and figures prominently in our Class of 2026 Rankings. All players featured within our Uncommitted Spotlight series are ones that college coaches and fans should be keeping their eyes on over the coming months.
We invite you to get to know them through the eyes of our Prep Baseball California staff of scouts both through our in person looks at players and/or the data-backed numbers collected at our events with our partnered companies. TrackMan, Blast Motion, Swift Performance, and Visual Edge provide comparable data to project and evaluate players. All of these systems come together to give a clear picture at what colleges will get when a players steps onto their campus.
Today, we put the spotlight on the number 91 ranked player in the 2026 class in SoCal '26 INF Greyson Gullage from Sierra Canyon High School. With an athletic build that features some present strength to it at 190 lbs. while showing solid athleticism including a 7.1 seconds 60 time. Gullage has a simple operation at the plate featuring a small forward move with his stride to go with a slight hand load before uncorking an intriguing LH swing. His swing path has strong metrics with his ability to generate torque 24.4 G's of rotational acceleration on avergae while flashing hand speed averaging 24.2 MPH and the bat speed to generate impact averaging 74.2 MPH of bat speed. The simplicity in his load and quickness to his swing with present feel for finding the barrel of the bat helps Gullage consistently impact the baseball with authority including a 93.4 MPH max EV and 80% of his contact being in the air to the middle/pull side of the field. His actions on the INF dirt are solid with a good fundamental base including his footwork and hands while showing an arm that is suited to a 2B/3B profile. His overall profile carries a LH hitting impact offensive profile with the potential to stay on the INF dirt. Gullage is a key piece of the emerging Sierra Canyon program who helped them earn a CIF-SS D1 playoff berth out of the uber-competitive Mission League where he figures to again play a big role in helping the Mustangs continue their rise on the CIF-SS High School baseball scence. The arrows point up for Gullage as a uncommitted '26 grad who college coaches and fans should be keeping close tabs on over the final 2 years of his high school/travel baseball career.
