The Uncommitted Spotlight Series continues as we have reached the completion of the '24 CIF High School baseball season Prep Baseball California is continuing to highlight some of the top uncommitted class of '25 athletes. The player featured today was a stellar performer in live looks by our Prep Baseball California staff this spring and is one the top uncommitted players in our Class of 2025 rankings. The players featured within our Uncommitted Spotlight series are ones that college coaches and fans should be keeping their eyes on over the coming months.

We invite you to get to know them through the eyes of our Prep Baseball California staff of scouts both through our in person looks at players and/or the data-backed numbers collected at our events with our partnered companies. TrackMan, Blast Motion, Swift Performance, and Visual Edge provide comparable data to project and evaluate players. All of these systems come together to give a clear picture at what colleges will get when a players steps onto their campus.

Today, we put the spotlight on a SoCal '25 RHP/1B Zeke Adderley from Santa Barbara High School. With a strong physical frame at 6' 225 lbs. with steadily improving athleticism to go with a powerful RH hitting profile and interesting ability on the mound as a RHP we take a deeper look at Adderley. During multiple in game looks this spring for Prep Baseball California Central Coast/VTA County scout Steven Hardesty, Adderley continually showed a impact approach at the plate with a consistent feel for finding his barrel with hard contact from the RH side while flashing good athletic ability and feel for the position at 1B with potential to possibly play some LF. As strong as his profile is at the plate Adderley is as intriguing if not more when he toes the rubber for the Dons as one of the top pitchers on a team that won the Channel League. For the year, Adderley was a First Team All-Channel League selection and on the offensive side produced a .368/.541/.754 slash line with 8 doubles, 4 triples, 2 HRs, drove in 20 runs while scoring 18 himself with more walks than strikeouts. His offensive ability is intriguing that you can see a middle of the order potential with depth to back end of a lineup floor.  His stuff on the mound is solid across the board including a FB which sits at 85-87 and peaked at 88/89 during the spring while adding in a CB which flashes potential and 11-5 shape. On the mound for 2024 Adderley performed to the tune of a 6-2 record, 2.28 ERA, with 60 Ks over 46 innings of work. He will need to refine his control and polish his delivery to take his pitching to the next level, but Adderley presents a very interesting name in the '25 class that is a must follow for college programs who has a chance to continue to raise his profile over the coming months headed into his SR. season.
