The Uncommitted Spotlight Series continues as we have started the '24 CIF High School baseball season Prep Baseball California is now highlighting some of the top uncommitted class of '25 athletes. The players featured are pulled directly from our '25 Class Rankings. These JR year players are ones that college coaches and fans should be keeping their eyes on over the coming months.
We invite you to get to know them through the eyes of our Prep Baseball California staff of scouts and the data-backed numbers collected at our events with our partnered companies. TrackMan, Blast Motion, Swift Performance, and Visual Edge provide comparable data to project and evaluate players. All of these systems come together to give a clear picture at what colleges will get when a players steps onto their campus.
Today, we put the spotlight on a SoCal '25 OF Lincoln Daly from Hart High School. Daly is a well built 6' 195 lbs Corner OF defender out of the Santa Clarita area who shows solid baseball ability across the board with an intriguing offensive profile. At the 2023 California State Games Daly impressed with a solid overall workout where he showed of 7.2 speed in the 60 with quickness while flashing 85 MPH OF arm velocity with accuracy to his throws (which he has displayed both during live looks for Prep Baseball California staff in addition). Where Daly stands out is in the RH batters box with bat speed, leverage in his path, balance in the lower half to stay on pitches with a middle to pull approach there is offensive impact ability for Daly going forward. His raw power shows well reaching 94.8 MPH on his max exit velocity at State Games while consistently barreling baseballs with authority for our staff during live looks. Daly has continued to polish his approach showing the ability to use his quick hands to work the backside of the field once behind in the count, but early in counts he is looking to do damage to the pull side. With good athletic ability, strength in his profile, solid defensively ability and an intriguing offensive profile Daly is a name to know in the '25 class for college programs looking for impact pieces for their lineups.
